Housing

There are numerous housing options, both on- and off-campus, available to international students. ISSI Orientation offers housing workshops that cover the cost of housing, renter’s rights, and housing opportunities.

On campus
Northeastern provides a variety of on-campus housing, with options for both rooms and apartment-style units in residence halls. Residence hall applications should be submitted as soon as possible, as rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Learn more about living on campus.

Off campus
The market for off-campus housing in close proximity to the University is very competitive. Allow ample time to find an apartment that best suits your needs—a process that can take several. You may also want to consider living farther away from campus, where apartment rental rates are sometimes lower, and commuting to campus via subway or bus.
