Making international students and families feel at home
Outreach and mentoring programs and family support are critical components of ISSI’s mission and offerings. ISSI sponsors more than 12 weeks of orientation/acculturation programming and an array of cultural enrichment initiatives that reflect the diversity of our community. In addition, ISSI offers a cadre of services that take into consideration the unique needs of international students and scholars. International parents, families, and spouses are incorporated into ISSI initiatives, in programs ranging from our international spouse/partner network Common Ground to parent and family receptions hosted during orientation.
