Global Leadership Summer 2013 Immigration Clearance and Sevis Sessions

All students whom are beginning a new program of study at Northeastern University must attend a mandatory Immigration Clearance and SEVIS session. This session is intended for the Siwnburne Exchange program in Global Leadership. You will need to bring your DS-2019 for your new program to this session so that the ISSI staff can sign it and verify to SEVIS that you are here for your courses. Failure to attend this session can result in your falling out of status with SEVIS.

Please note that you must complete an Online Immigration Clearance Form before attending Immigration Clearance.If you fail to complete the form online, then you will delay your ability to complete Immigration Clearance and thus be able to register for classes, adjust your class schedule, receive your Husky Card, etc. Click the following link to access the form: Immigration Clearance Form

Fall 2013 Late Immigration Clearance Check-In
Location: Curry Student Center Ballroom
Time: 10:00am-12:00pm

All F-1 and J-1 visa students whom are beginning a new program of study at Northeastern University must attend a mandatory Immigration Clearance Check-In. This Check-In is intended for late arriving students. You will need to bring your I-20 or DS-2019 for your new program to this session so that the ISSI staff can sign it and verify to SEVIS that you are here for your courses. Failure to attend this session can result in your falling out of status with SEVIS.

Please note that you must complete an Online Immigration Form before attending Immigration Clearance. If you fail to complete the form online, then you will delay your ability to complete Immigration Clearance Check-In and thus be able to register for classes, adjust your class schedule, receive your Husky Card, etc. Click the following link to access the form: Online Immigration Form

Fall 2013 Late SEVIS Session

Time: 1:00pm-2:00pm

All F-1 and J-1 visa students whom are beginning a new program of study at Northeastern University must attend a mandatory SEVIS Session. This session is intended for late arriving students in any program. At this Session you will receive information from an ISSI International Student Advisor regarding the procedures that you must follow as a student to maintain your visa status. The Session lasts about 45 minutes.



OPT Question and Answer Session

The ISSI offers OPT Question and Answer Sessions to assist students who are applying for Optional Practical Training. The sessions have been created to clarify any questions that may exist after a student has reviewed the OPT Online Training Session. The Q&A lasts for one hour. It is encouraged that students arrive at the beginning of the session.

Taiwanese Student Association 2nd General Meeting

We understand what you are going through this time of the academic year, so let us have some FUN~! The NTSA is holding a 2nd General Meeting and we would like to invite all of you to join us and take out all the stress and just to enjoy the moment!

NTSA will provide foods and drinks and will announce upcoming events such as End of Year party!

I-20/DS-2019 Travel Signature Session

Will you be traveling outside of the US during Spring Break and are in need of a new travel signature on your I-20 or DS-2019? If so, then join us for a special Travel Signature Session to expedite your request before Spring Break begins. Please remember to bring your current I-20 or DS-2019.
