CPS Summer 2013 Immigration Clearance and Sevis Sessions

All students whom are beginning a new program of study at Northeastern University must attend a mandatory Immigration Clearance and SEVIS session. This session is intended for students beginning a degree program in the College of Professional Studies. You will need to bring your I-20 for your new program to this session so that the ISSI staff can sign it and verify to SEVIS that you are here for your courses. Failure to attend this session can result in your falling out of status with SEVIS.

Please note that you must complete an Online Immigration Clearance Form before attending Immigration Clearance.If you fail to complete the form online, then you will delay your ability to complete Immigration Clearance and thus be able to register for classes, adjust your class schedule, receive your Husky Card, etc. Click the following link to access the form: Immigration Clearance Form

Tutors will help you understand what you’re hearing, help you with pronunciation, provide opportunities to practice speaking, and discuss American culture. This session is independent, so you can attend whenever it is possible for you to participate.
