OPT Question and Answer Session

The International Student and Scholar Institute (ISSI) at Northeastern University offers OPT Question and Answer Sessions to assist those students who are applying for Optional Practical Training. The sessions have been created to clarify any questions that may exist after reviewing the OPT Online Training Session. They will be held for one and a half hours. It is encouraged that students arrive at the beginning of the Q & A session.

Taiwanese Student Association Chinese Lunar New Year Gathering Party

Chinese Lunar New Year is here again, and every year the NTSA gathers together to celebrate this important festival!! Be ready to join the NTSA with fantastic Taiwanese food, fun games, and these awesome moments! You could also be the next lucky person to win our big prizes in red envelopes!

Lunar New Year

Masks in Motion featuring Lady of the Rings (a performance and workshop)
Location:
Curry Student Center Ballroom
Time: 5:00pm-7:00pm

In this workshop session, characteristics and stock characters are explained. Students participate in mimicking the positions, the walk and gestures of famous Commedia characters. They learn about masks and experiment with the characters’ moves. This session includes a presentation, a performance with Renaissonics and a workshop with audience participation will follow. Co-sponsored by the ISSI, World Languages Center and the Italian Culture Society.

Beyond Borders: Lebanon
