College of Professional Studies

International students wishing to apply to the College of Professional Studies (CPS) must enroll in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program. CPS accepts hundreds of international students each year into programs ranging from associate’s to master’s degree levels. International students must maintain a full-time course of study, and that enrollment in on-line classes is strictly limited by federal regulations.

Enrollment steps:

Students living abroad

CPS application

• Completed and signed Declaration and Certification of Finances (DCF)

• Application for a Certificate of Eligibility (I-20 form)

• Copy of identity page(s) of passport

• Original financial documents covering all expenses for one academic year, as listed on the DCF

Students transferring from another U.S. institution:

• All documents listed above

Transfer-In Notification Form

• Copies of all I-20’s from schools previously attended

• Copies of front and back of I-94 (if student is still in the U.S.)

• Copy of current visa stamp

• Copy of Employment Authorization Document (EAD), if applicable

Holders of nonimmigrant status (e.g., L-2, J-2, F-2, H-4, etc.)

• Copies of the identity and visa pages of passport

• Copy of both sides of I-94 card

• Any other relevant documents
