Attendance: Lara, Catia, Laura, Klevis, Gini and Phil
SERMAL:
- It went well
- Good performance
- Behavior from delegates was fine
- Relationship delegate-head delegate was good
- Something to follow up for Nationals; ensure room curfew
- NERMAL should have a maximum of SERMAL schools to ensure variety
- We should include Canadian schools
- Also, one or two state recruitment focus (New York, Vermont, etc)
- Idea to have the faculty’s role change in SERMAL
- They could help with awards
- They could help with creating a crisis
NATIONALS:
- Kenny Lewis has been selected to travel as Delia’s partner in the Political Committee
Incorporating Model Programs to International Affairs:
- Standardized syllabus for Model NATO, Model United Nations and Model Arab League
- We’d still have a lab fee – revenue builder
- People need to be more involved as leaders – more people that ‘do’
- We could have three positions as Vice Presidents for each branch (Model NATO, MUN, MAL)
- It should be an application-appoint process
- Although appointing them would help simplify the process
BMAL:
- For Saturday evening: McLeod Suites
- We need to tell National Council to send placards – we need to tell them specifically what we need because we operate differently – in regards to placards
- Car for food – Lara, possibly Evan
- Check up on head delegates – ensure they’re encouraging their committees
RMUN:
- Rooms in IRC account
- Contact Rebecca to begin chair-applications
Weekly Update:
- BMAL Schedule – if you’re unclear about anything email Catia, IRC or Head Delegate
- Mandatory
- Document for Class – starting with an unmoderated next week to merge
- RMUN – mark your calendar; opportunity for secretariat, chairs, etc soon to come
