My name is Xiaochang Zhu,
just call me Lucy.
I’m a sophomore from China,
major in Marketing and Finance,
and I also do a minor in communication studies.
I can speak English and mandarin.
Here is a little bit about me:
Watching movies and American TV series should be my first hobby, especially those related to criminal, FBI investigation and special agent. Right now my favorite TVs are NIKITA and Criminal Minds. I like listening music, playing piano, yoga, singing and photographing at leisure. I am also an experienced NBA fan (even though I cannot play it) with tons of precious basketball videos.
Recently I found myself fall in love with traveling, I name it “Travel as a Backpacker” after spend 10 days in LA during the Christmas break. It was so much fun and so amazing traveling individually. It’s kind of challenge, but I totally enjoy that.
I am doing volunteer every week in Boston Rescue Mission and Boys & Girls Club. I love doing cummunity services. I do like to help people, serveing food to homeless people or helping kids with their homework and playing games.
I like being together with people, making new friends and getting to know new things.
As an international student, I have had some similar issues or concerns, which you guys probably will have or right now are struggling with. So I can better understand your feelings and help you. We can talk about academic problems, talk about how to improve your writing or speaking skills, talk about volunteering orgetting involved in group activities. Or none of these! Let’s just sit down and have a coffee, chating, joking and gossiping. I do have a lot to share with you, so feel free to contact with me any time you want.
