Home is where the heart is, so being away from home is never an easy thing to do, no matter how long it’s been. This is my 5th year in the states and there are still times when I wonder “When is it (homesick) gonna get easier”. However, life is what you make it to be, so I choose to make mine busy and eventful. Asides from the very tight Pharm D program I’m in, I love volunteering, especially to work with children. This past summer I volunteered in India for a month and taught English to kids at a slum. It was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to do more things like that. My friends are my everything away from home, so I enjoy spending time with them also. And Boston is a beautiful city, so there’s never enough of places for me to wander around, to eat and to explore. Everyone has their own key to happiness, and mine is called “Love yourself, Love the people you’re with, Love the place you’re at”.
