What do students do with an IAF degree?
Students who graduate with their B.A. in International Affairs go on to work in a variety of fields -- non-profit organizations, NGOs, positions in the government, banks, media and communications, research, public relations, education, corporate companies, and many others. IAF alumni currently hold positions in the U.S. Government, Peace Corps, United Nations, Amnesty International, the Smithsonian, Mass General Hospital, and Harvard University.
There are so many things that I want to learn and experience in college. How do I make the most of my time as an International Affairs student at Northeastern?
We encourage International Affairs majors to spend as much time as possible away from campus...either through co-op, study abroad, internatioanal internships, or Dialogue of Civilizations programs. Balancing all of these experiences with coursework is possible with planning!
