As an interdisciplinary program, the International Affairs Program at Northeastern University utilizes both a small group of core faculty as well as a larger community of faculty from various disciplines including history, political science, human services, anthropology, sociology, environmental studies, philosophy and religion, modern languages, etc.
International Affairs faculty encourage students to embrace a variety of experiences during their time at Northeastern. Our core faculty members have experience in a diverse range of fields including diplomacy, human rights, civil society, grassroots political movements, and non-profit development. International study, co-op, internships, and other forms of experiential learning enrich the academic experience of our students and expose them to real-life learning that is invaluable to careers in international affairs.
