Northeastern University provides students with a variety of opportunities to explore academic, professional, and international experiences. Consequently, Northeastern also provides qualified advisors to help students pursue each of their objectives.

Students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with their degree audit (available through myNEU) to track their requirements and progress in their major.

The College of Arts and Sciences Center for Academic Services
The center provides a central place within the college for undergraduate students to go for a wide range of academic support services. Located in 1 Meserve Hall, the center is the place where you can go first with your general academic questions.

College of Arts & Sciences Academic Advisor
The college academic advisor, located in the Center for Academic Services in 1 Meserve, provide general guidance on academic matters and assist students in their progress from orientation through graduation. Students with questions about the NU Core, transferring credits, or pursuing a double major should make an appointment to meet with the college advisor. International Affairs Faculty Advisor
The faculty advisor in the International Affairs Program advises and mentors students and functions as the student's main connection with the major. Students with questions about course requirements related to the major and students who wish to transfer into the major should meet with the faculty advisor during posted walk-in office hours or make an appointment.

Cooperative Education Advisors
All International Affairs majors are assigned a co-op advisor within International Affairs. (Students pursuing a dual major between two departments can choose which department's co-op advisor is more appropriate for their career interests.) These advisors will guide students through the process of preparing for co-op, applying for jobs, and reflecting on the experience.

International Cooperative Education Advisors
Students interested in completing an international co-op should work closely with both their cooperative education advisor in International Affairs as well as an advisor in the international co-op office. The international co-op advisors will help students determine which international positions may be suitable to their interests and skills as well as guide students through the visa application process.

International Study Programs Advisors
Students interested in going on an international study program have access to advisors in the Office of International Study Programs located at 10 Belvedere.
