All centrally-managed Microsoft Windows and Apple MacOS client computers are protected by automated security patching and operating system updates that are deployed as required in a timely, unobtrusive manner by Information Technology Services, using a centralized management and monitoring system. This service also enables zero day reaction to security threats to the managed client network, reducing risk through the proactive elimination of operating system vulnerabilities.
Security patches and updates are applied to all centrally managed workstations to protect the Northeastern computing environment and University data from exploitation.

Service is available 24 x 7 x 365, except during planned maintenance and upgrades.
