Account Management Services

Account Management Services is used in granting access to the myNEU Portal and other university services. All Faculty, Staff, and Students are granted a myNEU or NUnet account, which provides them access to the electronic services they are entitled to. This service includes the backend support required for the creation of usernames and passwords, distribution of those credentials, and common account management tasks (change password, update challenge question, etc).
Functionality/Benefits
The Account Management Services provide secure methods of accessing confidential or personally identifying identifiable information in Northeastern applications. This service ensures that customers have the correct myNEU Portal roles to access the information they need. It also manages the NUnet account process enabling users to login to the NUnet domain.

Service is available 24 x 7 x 365, except during planned maintenance and upgrades.

Support is provided by Information Technology Services during Service Desk hours of 7:00am – 12midnight Monday – Saturday, except during holidays and intersession. To obtain assistance with this service, please contact the Service Desk at 617.373.4357 (xHELP).
