An introductory SharePoint class, SharePoint for End Users, is available through the Information Technology Services Training Department. In this class you will learn the basics of working with documents, calendars and other features, as well as site administration tasks such as adding users and managing permissions. You can see a schedule of classes and sign up on the ITS Training website.

Online Training

Online training is available to Northeastern University faculty, staff and students through lynda.com. Lynda.com has self-paced modules covering many topics, including SharePoint. To find out more about lynda.com online training, please see the lynda.com Information page or contact us at training@neu.edu.

Other Training Opportunities

The SharePoint Drop-In Working Lab is an open format lab where SharePoint site owners/admins can stop by and receive assistance with their current site setup, as well as inspiration and ideas on how to maximize the use of SharePoint.  Select topics, such as permissions, may also be reviewed regularly.
