Description
The Audio / Visual Consulting service provides consultation on the design and installation of technology in classrooms, conference rooms, and event sites.
Functionality/Benefits
Information regarding the latest trends in equipment appropriate for University environments is provided to the customer during the consultation visit to help assist the customer with making the most appropriate decisions for their audio-visual needs. Technology installations are consistent both for end users and support personnel. Plans include information on replacement systems or parts. Integration of new technology with existing units means fewer operational problems. Consistent equipment can save the University money by enabling bulk purchases of parts or replacements.

Service is available during normal University business Hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday.
Support
Support is provided by Information Services during normal University business hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday. To obtain assistance with this service, please contact the Service Desk at 617-373-4357 (HELP).
Charge
The consultation piece of this service is provided at no charge. However, the equipment purchased based on this consultation can either be funded by a department, a physical plant project, a grant, or Information Services.
