InfoCommons is the largest of the centrally managed labs on campus providing access to 161 computer stations. InfoCommons is open 24 /7. The lab offers over 170 computers (both PC and Mac), printing, scanning, walk-up technical support, access to university applications, after hours/weekend telephone support, and audio-visual equipment distribution.
Software and hardware is centrally managed consistently. Students are able to log in with their myNEU accounts. Software updates, including virus protection, are done in a timely manner without user intervention. This service also provides a Help Desk for technical assistance to users in the InfoCommons computer lab during normal lab hours.
