Centrally Managed (Computer) Labs

Centrally Managed Computer Labs are controlled and maintained by Information Technology Services. Computers are patched, managed by group policy and are included in the hardware 3-year refresh program. Software is pushed down electronically using one of the Software Distribution methods.

Software and hardware is centrally managed consistently. Students are able to log in with their own credentials. Software updates, including virus protection, are done in a timely manner without user intervention. Hardware is refreshed routinely.

Hours of lab availability vary by lab. Please contact the Service Desk at 617.373.4357 (xHELP) for information on a specific lab. See Hours and Locations for current hours.

Classroom support is provided by Information Technology Services during Service Desk hours of 7:00am – 10:00pm Monday – Sunday, except during holidays and intersession.
