Network Distributed Applications

The Network Distributed Applications service provides customers with access to certain University licensed applications using University owned, centrally managed computers. These applications are made available either through the Start menu or Add/Remove Programs menu.

A list of applications available through this service can be located under the Software tab.

Software is packaged either with the necessary licensing or points to the license server automatically if they are on a NUnet machine, using the NUwave network or NUnet network (not NUwave-guest and not ResNet network).

Hours of Availability
Service is available 24 x 7 x 365, except during planned maintenance and upgrades.
Support is provided by Information Technology Services during normal university business hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday. To obtain assistance with this service, please contact the Service Desk at 617.373.4357 (xHELP).
