NUwave is the wireless network infrastructure that provides Intranet and Internet connectivity.
Functionality/Benefits
NUwave wireless service provides wireless network connectivity to Northeastern University’s data network and Internet, in academic locations, remote campus locations and common areas of residence halls. NUwave service is offered at two levels of access (secured/encrypted) and guest (unsecured) access.
Service Level Options
  • NUwave: secure wireless access for authenticated users to university resources and the Internet.
  • NUwave-guest: wireless access for guests of the university without myNEU credentials. Provides limited Internet access to most browser-based applications, email and VPN access while visiting campus.

Hours of Availability
Service is available 24 x 7 x 365, except during planned maintenance and upgrades.
Support
Support is provided by Information Technology Services during Service Desk hours of 7:00am – 12midnight Monday – Saturday, except during holidays and intersession. To obtain assistance with this service, please contact the Service Desk at 617.373.4357 (xHELP).
