Network Port Moves, Adds and Changes service provides Faculty, Staff and Students new NUnet Quads, ResNet Quads or Husky Cable jacks installed, moved or ports activated.
Functionality/Benefits
Provides access to the Northeastern campus data network. The network provides high-bandwidth and high-availability connections to computing resources across campus. Customers must submit a form to the Information Technology Services Service Desk indicating what items they want and authorizing payment for the services requested.

Service is available 24 x 7 x 365, except during planned maintenance and upgrades.
Support

Support is provided by Information Technology Services during Service Desk hours of 7:00am – 12midnight Monday – Saturday, except during holidays and intersession. To obtain assistance with this service, please contact the Service Desk at 617.373.4357 (xHELP).

Support is provided by Information Technology Services during normal university business hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday. To obtain assistance with this service, please contact the NTS Service Manager.

Charge

Charges for this service vary depending on needs of the customer.

There are no additional costs associated with individual requests for network moves, adds or changes. Moves, adds or changes related to a construction or renovation project will be charged.
