Other Computer Labs and Computers
Lab Locations and Telephone Numbers
Information Services provides a number of labs in various locations around Northeastern’s campuses, supporting PC, Mac, and laptop use. These labs are available to current students, faculty and staff with a valid myNEU login and can be found at the following locations:
- InfoCommons I & II — Snell Library, see hours above — 617.373.4357 (xHELP)
- Dodge 54 — 617.373.4357
- Downtown Campus — Primarily teaching labs, call for availability — 617.373.8300
The InfoCommons maintains two computer labs inside the Snell Library, InfoCommons I and InfoCommons II. Both labs are located on the first floor of the Snell Library.
eBars
eBars are publicly available computers that allow you to access the Internet quickly using your myNEU/NUnet log in account. There is no printing available on these machines. eBars make it more convenient to access e-mail or check myNEU or Blackboard from multiple locations across campus. This provides users another option beyond going to the main computer labs in the Snell Library (SL). eBars are located:
- Behrakis Health Sciences Center · BK · #26 on map
- Shillman Hall · SH · #30 on map
- Curry Student Center · CSC · #50 on map
- Speare Hall · SP · #16 on map
- Ryder Hall · RY · #24 on map
- International Village · INV · #80 on map
- Snell Library · SL · #59 on map
myNEU Kiosks
myNEU Kiosks are PCs located throughout the University with attached printers which allow Faculty, Staff and Students to securely access any of the services available on myNEU. Each is a protected PC that only allows on-campus connections with the exception of the following: Cashnet and the offsite booking system that the Marino Center uses for scheduling resources (i.e., racquetball courts).
