Turning Technologies has released an upgrade to the TurningPoint (clicker) software. This is a great improvement and quite different from Northeastern’s current student clicker offering.
Information Technology Services will have this available for the start of the spring semester when the new software will be deployed to computers in the classrooms.
The TurningPoint software can only have one connection to Blackboard so, beginning in January, only the new TurningPoint software will be available with access to the Gradebook in Blackboard.
Instruction and virtual training will be provided prior to the upgrade to ensure that faculty will be comfortable using the new software for the spring. Students will need to simply re-register their clickers or Responseware in Blackboard.
