Since March 2012, Information Services has participated in upgrading and refreshing nearly 80 classrooms. We were able to upgrade 29 classrooms in March by adding a computer to each. In May the technology installed in Kariotis classrooms was removed for extensive renovation of the building during Summer I. The technology was then reinstalled for the start of Summer II.
This summer IS upgraded video/data projectors in 47 rooms, and added classrooms to Behrakis and the Marine Science Center in Nahant.
Currently the staff is evaluating classrooms as a whole to designate the next group of rooms to update.
