Husky Card Infrastructure Upgraded

At the beginning of March, in conjunction with the Husky Card Services staff and the vendor, Information Services upgraded the infrastructure supporting the Husky Card. While this upgrade did not change any of the current functionality of the Husky Card, it was necessary for any future service expansion.

Use of the Husky Card has grown from simply being NU’s ID card to providing access to University resources and services. Faculty, staff, and students can use their card to access buildings such as the Library or residence halls, the Marino Recreation Center, and University events and to participate in the free print allowance program available in Information Services computer labs and print stations elsewhere on campus. Students can use the card to access their meal plan and Dining Dollars. And by depositing money to your Husky Dollar account, faculty, staff, and students can use the card to purchase goods and services at over 75 local restaurants, cafes, and services.
For more information on the Husky Card, including a full list of vendors who accept Husky Dollars, visit the Husky Card website.
