Northeastern will be releasing a new mobile app this Fall for Blackberry, Android, and iOS devices. Version one of the app provides information about the University, its programs, courses, athletics, events, and news. There’s also a personal area where students, using their myNEU username and password, can view the courses that they’ve registered for and their Husky card balances.
In the development of this app, the foundation for future functionality was laid which will provide custom services to mobile students, faculty, and staff.
A web site is being developed with more information about the mobile app and will include a place for feedback and new functionality suggestions. An announcement will be sent out when the app is available for download from the respective smartphone stores.
