Information Services is pleased to announce that lynda.com will be available later in the fall semester for student, faculty and staff use.
lynda.com is one of the best online learning resources and is used by companies like Google and Amazon.com to keep their staff up to date regarding the latest technologies. There are thousands of instructional courses available for design, digital photography, web and interactive design, developer, video, 3D, animation, business, audio, and home computing.
The University community will have web-based access to the entire lynda.com learning library, including the ability to create personal profiles, bookmark progress and receive certificates of completion. The self-directed courses incorporate screen capture, live action, graphics, animation, simulations or metaphors and SMART Board demonstration. Closed captioning and searchable time-encoded transcripts are available for all courses.
