CoRD Remote Desktop for Macs

Within the past few months, incompatibilities of Microsoft’s Remote Desktop Connection for Mac with newer versions of their operating systems have prompted Information Services to choose and test alternative applications for providing remote desktop support for Macintosh users connecting to MyApps. We are pleased to announce that Information Services has chosen the “CoRD Remote Desktop” as the replacement application for remote desktop access, and will make it generally available over the next few months.

CoRD is a Mac OSX remote desktop client that is easy to install and use. In our testing of CoRD Remote Desktop, CoRD has proven to be fully compatible connecting to all Windows operating system platforms reliably and consistently.

In the meantime, for more information about CoRD, and to download the application, please visit the CoRD website.
