IS Recommended Online Resources

If you are interested in keeping current on the subjects of technology in education, here is a list of recommended listservs or websites geared towards faculty/staff, technology and education:

  • Tomorrow’s Professor
    A listserv geared toward faculty, in the areas of science and engineering.
  • EDUCAUSE
    A nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology.
  • RSA
    The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) has been a source of ideas, innovation and civic enterprise for over 250 years.
  • TED Ideas Worth Spreading
    The byline on this website is: "Riveting talks by remarkable people, free to the world." The collection of videos covers topics such as education, technology, entertainment, and more.
  • TechCrunch
    A website that provides reviews on new internet products and breaking technology news.
  • Mashable
    An online collection of news and other information pertaining to technology, web culture and social media.
