Many of you have (hopefully!) had a chance to take a peek at the Blackboard 9 Preview* environment.
In preparation for the downtime required for the system upgrade and data migration over the winter break, there are two critical ‘to do’ items for faculty to take care of prior to December 22, 2010:
- Download your Gradebook (to Excel, e.g.) for each active course
- Review all courses listed and mark previous semester courses ‘unavailable’ to students
There are a lot of exciting new enhancements including a completely redesigned Grade Center, improved course management workflow, Web 2.0 blog and journal tools, and in-context (without having to access the control panel) drag-and-drop creation and editing capabilities.
