As part of the Symantec Antivirus upgrade, Information Services has negotiated home use rights to Symantec Antivirus protection for Northeastern Faculty and Staff personal computers. Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) is available through “Software Downloads” on the “Services and Links” tab on myNEU.
In addition to continually updating your virus definitions, the Symantec Endpoint Protection offers protection against security threats such as spyware and other malicious code which can be inadvertently downloaded while browsing the Web.
