Using the Remote Access Service

Use the Remote Access Service (VPN) to Connect to and Use NU Computer Resources

We featured this service in an earlier newsletter article, but it’s so useful we want to make sure you know about it. More and more people are working remotely, but they need access to on-campus resources. This is where the VPN comes into play.

A VPN is a Virtual Private Network, which provides secure access between a user on a remote computer and on-campus computer resources. This means that, from home or another location, you can gain access to your desktop or to servers that are on-campus. The IS website contains more information about using this service on our Remote Access (VPN) Support pages.
