Over the next two weeks, in preparation for the 2013-2014 academic year and the opening of new InfoCommons, Information Technology Services (ITS) will be conducting work that will result in the following outages and computer lab closures:
Temporary InfoCommons Computer Lab Closures
On Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 11 p.m. EDT two of the temporary InfoCommons locations (219SL and 422SL) will close as ITS prepares to relocate the equipment to the new InfoCommons on the first floor of Snell Library. The computer lab in 246SL and the Digital Media Commons will remain open during regularly scheduled summer hours.
On Monday, August 26, 2013, swipe-to-print will be unavailable between 6:00 p.m.-midnight EDT, while the virtual print system is upgraded. This outage impacts all swipe-to-print locations across the university (including graduate campuses). A print kiosk will be available in Snell Library for those needing to print during the outage.
myFiles and myApps Outage
On Saturday, August 31, 2013, myFiles and myApps will be unavailable between 9 a.m.-noon EDT as ITS performs an application infrastructure upgrade. The “Software Downloads” and “View Classrooms” services will also be unavailable during this time.
