Information Technology Services is now offering a weekly drop-in lab for SharePoint site administrators. SharePoint site owners/admins can stop by this open-format training lab and receive assistance with their current site setup, as well as inspiration and ideas on how to maximize the use of SharePoint. The lab will be held in 145 Snell Library every Thursday from 9:15-10:15.
Faculty and staff across the university are using SharePoint to collaborate, as well as to automate business process, eliminate the need for paper forms, manage projects and events, and more. Faculty and staff can stop by the training lab, login to their sites and receive assistance as they work. IS will also review functionality such as how to create online forms, enhance usability in document libraries with metadata and views, and target/display information to sets of users. The format is open and flexible so site owners are welcomed to drop in anytime during the hour, or stay the entire time and work on their site.
