You don’t have to go to Hollywood to be an idol—Northeastern’s singing sensations get their shot at stardom right here on campus.

The second annual “NU Idol” competition—hosted by the Class Council of 2012 and judged by the student comedy group NU & Improv’d—put Northeastern talent to the test.

After a rigorous (and pretty humorous) audition process, the top performer won the opportunity to belt out the national anthem in Boston’s famed Fenway Park before more than 35,000 fans attending the annual Northeastern Night at Fenway game.
