Invariant theory and a combinatorial phenomenon |
Abstract: The interplay between invariant theory and combinatorics has a long history. This talk will describe a recent example where invariant theory explained a certain combinatorial phenomenon, and in turn, the combinatorics suggested how one should generalize the invariant theory. |
