William Dickens, an internationally renowned expert in labor markets, wage determination, unemployment, monetary policy, inner-city employment, and effects of trade on employment and wages, has joined Northeastern as Distinguished Professor of Economics.

Susan Montgomery, whose research focuses on intellectual property assets and related strategic planning, exploitation and protection, has joined Northeastern as Executive Professor of Law and Business.

Dagmar Sternad, whose research focuses on the control and coordination of goal-directed human behavior and movement, has joined Northeastern as Professor of Biology.

Ming Wang, whose research has had a major impact on the health monitoring of civil infrastructures and the development of new sensor technologies for civil infrastructure applications, has joined Northeastern as Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
