Cobar Systems LLC was founded by Johann Barlach and Casey Flynn in October 2011. Cobar Systems strives to innovate the way organizations test their recovery strategies its web-based software solution called Themis. Themis replaces email communication and excel-spreadsheet that are currently used to manage business continuity testing. It increases efficiency by automating the distribution, collection and compiling of testing data across an organization. It provides auditing tools to track if requirements, set by compliance, are met. It also increases engagement of test participants through its mobile and tablet integration. Themis ensures disaster recovery preparedness of all employees and helps answer the question “Will our plans work during a real business disruption?”
