Kevin Walther is in his senior year at Northeastern University, majoring in political science and communication studies. Kevin is currently an intern at Edelman in the Business + Social Purpose practice.
Kevin recently completed an internship at APCO Worldwide, assisting the corporate responsibility and corporate communications teams. While working in the D.C. headquarters, he managed numerous client needs, such as securing media coverage, consulting on current issues, and drafting reports. His clients included corporations in the financial and energy sectors.
Previously, Kevin interned at Howard Consulting Group, a public affairs consulting firm, in the communications and media division. Kevin's work included creating news briefings, coordinating media outreach, and securing radio interviews.
Kevin previously served as a Campus Ambassador for Smarterer, a Boston-based startup used to test social, technical, and digital skills. He also participated in Governor Deval Patrick’s press office internship, assisting the press secretaries with press material and media inquiries. Kevin has also worked at a U.S. Representative’s office, EIV News as a reporter and writer, and WEBN as a correspondent.
After graduating, Kevin plans to work in public relations in New York City.
