NEXPO is a celebration of the entrepreneurial groups, students and organizations in the Northeastern and Boston communities and is a unique opportunity to meet and network with fellow entrepreneurs. Ventures working with IDEA will be showcasing their businesses on the expo floor. IDEA invites and encourages Northeastern students and the general public to join us for a night of innovation and celebration. NEXPO caters to those interested in all facets of entrepreneurship, whether you’re a student looking to launch or expand your business or an industry professional looking to share your experience or service with others. Investor Insights

Investor Insights is a biannual program held by IDEA during the fall and spring semesters. Investor Insights provides an opportunity for students to receive valuable feedback from a panel of experienced investors regarding early-stage venture funding and careers in the investment industry. Student moderators lead the discussion, asking the panelists a variety of questions that are likely to yield useful and candid information that will help individuals determine the steps they need to take in order to move a venture forward or begin a rewarding career in the investment industry. Investor Insights aims to introduce emerging entrepreneurs and their ventures to angels and venture capital firms, as well as provide insights into the minds of successful investors.

Pitch-a-Thon

IDEA’s Pitch-a-Thon provides our top ventures with the opportunity to deliver a five-minute pitch highlighting their business to a group of investors. This event is not a competition with a set prize amount but, rather, is an opportunity for investors to make connections with our ventures, as well as to discover potential investment opportunities.
