As September rolls around it’s time to start thinking about what events to attend for the Fall. Below are some great entrepreneurial events in Boston for you to attend!
September 4th: Emerson Accelerator Launch Event at District Hall – We are excited to begin our first year with a speed-dating style meeting of the mentors and accepted student start-up, a short round of pitches from each start-up, and brief remarks from Emerson College President Lee Pelton. We are proud to meet at District Hall, a new home for innovation in Boston.
September 11th: Tech Cocktail’s Boston Mixer & Startup Showcase at Tech Cocktail – Tech Cocktail is a media company focused on better connecting, educating and amplifying the start-up technology community and showcasing the latest tech innovations. Tech Cocktail is aimed at helping build and strengthen local tech start-up communities both online and off. During past mixer events we have had companies find employees, co-founders, funding and some start-ups have even been acquired. We love it when that happens.
September 11th: Entrepreneurship: Is It For You? at the Startup Institute – Join Startup Institute Boston and ONEin3 Boston on Wednesday, September 10th, to hear from a panel of startup experts. Each of our panelist have been involved in our tech ecosystem in various capacities and will share their perspective on different paths for entering Boston’s startup community.
September 15th: Sales Hacker Conference Boston – The Sales Hacker Conference and SalesHacker.com aim to educate in the intersection of sales and technology. As technology in sales continues to rapidly evolve, there are more ways to make sales teams infinitely more efficient than ever before. These are the sales hacks, strategies, and tactics we’re putting on display.
September 18th: A Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Boston Startup Scene at the Harvard Innovation Lab – Welcome (back) to Boston! Join us at the i-lab for an invaluable orientation on the local startup scene from venture capitalist Jeff Bussgang of Flybridge Capital. The session will lay out the local ecosystem, walk through the popular micro-clusters and help you navigate possible internships, field studies and jobs.
