Snell Library Access
The Husky Card is used for access to the library as well as printing and checking-out books. All Northeastern University affiliates with a Husky Card have access to the Snell Library. The Snell Library uses a multi-layered security system, both a Husky Card swipe access point (entrance) along with an access monitor which displays the photo of the person accessing the library.
Borrowing books, videos, documents and more!
Any Northeastern student registered for classes has the opportunity to borrow certain books from the Snell Library. You must present a valid Husky Card to the library staff in order to do so. The Library book check-out uses the barcode on the front of the Husky Card. If the barcode is scratched or worn down, the Husky Card Office will replace your card for free if the broken card is presented at the time of printing the replacement card.
Computer access and printing
The Snell Library offers a 24/7 computer lab known as InfoCommons which features PCs, Apple computers, copiers and scanners. The InfoCommons is managed by Northeastern’s Information Services Department. For more information on Print Buck allowances, please visit the “Print Bucks” section.
