Dear CSSH Graduate Students:
Beginning June 2013, the Dean’s office will implement a new process in order to assist communication and consistency in the grants process for graduate students. The goal of this procedure is to allow the Dean’s office time to provide assistance to graduate students who plan on submitting grant proposals and fellowship applications.
If you are a graduate student in good standing in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities and wish to apply for any external grant or fellowship opportunity (i.e. any award that is not given by Northeastern University), the CSSH Dean’s office requests that you print out the attached form with all the appropriate signatures and submit it to Erika Koss no later than one month before the deadline of the award opportunity. (Exceptions will be made for any June 2013 deadlines.)
This process is required even if you will apply for the award as an individual and not through Northeastern’s Office of Research, Administration, and Finance (ORAF). If you are applying for more than one opportunity, please fill out one form per application.
