The Performance Management cycle offers both employees and managers a valuable opportunity to assess job performance, discuss expectations and accomplishments, and set goals for the coming year. This process includes employee self-assessment, manager feedback and a formal appraisal delivered annually. It is essential that appraisals are thoughtfully and carefully completed to advance the goals of Northeastern and demonstrate the value of staff contributions to the university while offering an opportunity to discuss success, opportunities for improvement, and career growth. Performance Management is a continuous and ongoing process.
