Star Recognition Certificate
Northeastern University's Star Recognition Certificate program is a unique program that allows any faculty or staff member to send a quick note to a colleague in recognition of a job well done. The program is intended to encourage immediate recognition of the extraordinary contributions of an individual faculty or staff member by any member of the university community.
It is designed to recognize behaviors and contributions that we don't see every day, with results that are above and beyond expectations.
Just use the special Star note cards to send a note to another employee, send the bottom portion to Human Resources and the recipient may win a $50 American Express Gift Cheque and be mentioned in the NU Voice!
Who is eligible?
The program is open to all faculty and staff members of the University community.
How does the program work?
An individual writes a note to the recipient on the certificate and completes the attached form. The certificate is detached and placed in the envelope and given directly to the colleague. The form is sent to HRM – 250 CP via interoffice mail.
Each month, HRM will randomly select up to four individuals from among the certificate recipients and award each of them a $50 American Express Gift Cheque.
