An Important Message for Blue Cross Blue Shield Subscribers Residing in Massachusetts

By January 31, 2011, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts will issue 2010 1099-HC forms to subscribers residing in Massachusetts who were enrolled at any time during the 2010 calendar year.

When you receive yours in the mail, hold on to it!  Due to Massachusetts Health Care Reform laws that require residents over the age of 18 to prove their health care coverage, you and your covered dependents will need a 1099-HC form to complete your state income tax returns.
