In addition to the resources provided by your department chair and college dean, there are many university-wide resources with which we encourage you to become acquainted. The Office of the Provost is responsible for the overall quality of teaching, scholarship, and research at the University. The Center for Advancing Teaching and Learning through Research, headed by Dr. Cigdem P. Talgar., supports administrators, faculty, staff, and students in their efforts to continue to evolve innovative programs that support students’ learning and development. NU Advance engages institutional leadership to build effective collaborative networks for faculty, in particular women, departments, and interdisciplinary programs that incorporate global opportunities. While driven by the need to increase participation and advancement of women faculty, the efforts of NU ADVANCE benefit all faculty members.
Information Systems for Faculty
In addition, Northeastern has many information systems to support research and teaching; the majority are accessed through your myNEU account. Below you will find a description of myNEU, a brief description of some of the information systems you can access through myNEU, and instructions about how to use the tools. myNEU is Northeastern’s electronic gateway that connects you with a wide-range of university systems such as grades and transcripts, confidentiality training, electronic rosters, and course evaluations. In addition, your payroll and personal information are accessed through myNEU. It is your responsibility to maintain accurate personal information such as campus address, home address, mail-stop, and emergency contact information.
