Effective January 1, 2016, Northeastern is offering a new voluntary benefit, a Legal Plan. You may enroll in the plan during annual open enrollment, 30 days from your date of hire date or following a qualifying event.
We are partnering with MetLife to offer a legal plan that gives you, your spouse, and/or eligible dependents access to a network of 14,000 attorneys nationwide to assist with a wide-range of legal issues. The MetLaw Legal Plan provides fully covered services on many personal legal matters such as real estate, estate planning, civil lawsuits, and elder-care issues.
Once you enroll, you may use the plan for covered services as often as you need during the year. Please note: Once enrolled in the plan, you must remain in the plan for the entire calendar year.
If you have enrolled, access the MetLaw Legal Plan by calling the Client Service Center at 800-821-6400 or visiting www.members.legalplans.com. You will need the last four numbers of your social security number and five digit home zip code.
Premium: $18/month for individual and family.
Our relocation assistance benefits help you relocate, purchase a home, and settle in to your new community. In addition, we offer the Northeastern University Federal Credit Union for all of your banking needs.
