Northeastern provides relocation assistance to faculty and staff through an arrangement with Coldwell Banker Relocation Services. Coldwell's services are listed below:
One-on-One Counseling
A Personal Relocation Counselor assesses the specific needs of the employee, gives counsel and guidance and then carefully matches a real-estate agent, who will assist in the sale, purchase or rental of a home.
Information on New Destination
Provides cost-of-living comparisons between departure and destination cities, school reports, community information and other pertinent information to assist in a home search.
Personal Tour of Community
The relocation counselor will coordinate an area housing tour so employees may investigate the housing market to get a sense of their purchasing power.
Cash Rebate for Buying/Selling Home
Employees can receive significant bonus on the sale or purchase of their home when they register with Coldwell Banker's Real Estate Advantage Program.
Home Sale Assistance
A comprehensive program designed to assist the seller in all aspects of the sale of their home. The counselor will help select a Real Estate Listing Agent who is best qualified to assist in the sale of the home and will provide property condition evaluations, recommend pricing and develop a personalized marketing strategy.

Credit Union
The Credit Union is sponsored for the benefit of all university faculty, staff and their families, graduate students and alumni. The Credit Union offers regular savings accounts, certificates of deposit, individual retirement accounts (IRAs), checking accounts, ATM/debit cards and loans. Credit Union members may take advantage of the automatic payroll savings plan.
