Globalization and the 2012 Freshman

As the world has become increasingly connected and interdependent, a host of new challenges have emerged. This LLC will explore the vast social, cultural and economic changes that await NU students as they go out into the world after graduation. We will utilize a variety of perspectives to explore globalization, including sociology, economics, political science and international affairs. Residents will discuss ways in which they can thrive in a globalized world.

Community Events Include:

  • Globalization & You
  • "Where does my food come from?" dinner
  • UN @ NU
  • Faculty Dinners & Lectures
  • Study Abroad & Co-op Info Sessions
